LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The 4th ranked Louisville Cardinals bounced back from series opening loss to 5th ranked Florida State with a convincing 7-1 victory Saturday at Dick Howser Stadium.
Drew Harrington pitched 7.2 innings, giving up only one run, and striking out five. He improved to 7-1 on the season.
Sophomore third baseman Blake Tiberi was one of four different Cardinals who had two hits. He led the offensive charge, finishing 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
The two teams close out the three game series Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1pm.
