Police arrest third suspect in Elizabethtown murder case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a murder and robbery that happened in Elizabethtown in January.

Monti Lopez-Olivera, 18, was arrested and booked into the Hardin County Detention Center on Friday. She is charged with murder and robbery and is being held on a $1 million bond.

Lopez-Olivera is a suspect in the death of Windell Jones. He was shot and killed in his apartment in the 600 block of Westport Road on Jan. 27. Officers found his body after responding to reports of gunshots.

Police in Elizabethtown have previously arrested two juveniles in connection with the case. Both suspects are being held at the Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Detention Center as the investigation continues.

Lopez-Olivera will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
