LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Elizabethtown Police say a Hardinsburg, Kentucky man is facing four counts of attempted murder after an argument with his ex-girlfriend.
According to an arrest report, 22-year-old Johnny Raymer was upset with his ex-girlfriend Saturday, just before 8 p.m., when he showed up at an apartment on Springfield Road, near Commerce Drive, in Elizabethtown.
Police say Raymer knew that his ex-girlfriend -- along with up to three others -- were inside.
Raymer tried to use a key to get inside, but it wouldn't work, according to the arrest report. Police say his ex-girlfriend was on the other side of the door, and told him that they had changed the lock.
According to the arrest report, that's when Raymer fired seven rounds into the door.
He was arrested a short time later and charged with four counts of attempted murder. He is currently being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
