LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Saturday's Derby prep races continued to shake up the latest National Thoroughbred Racing Association Poll.
Exaggerator made the biggest move after pulling away for a six-length triumph in the Santa Anita Derby. Trained by Keith Desormeaux, ridden by brother Kent Desormeaux, he jumped in at number three in the poll. And the Dale Romans-trained Brody's Cause also worked his way into the top ten at number six with a victory in the Toyota Blue Grass at Keeneland. Here's the top ten from the NTRA as we are now less than four weeks from the big race.
The unbeaten Nyquist is a solid number one. Songbird the unbeaten filly who will be a strong favorite in the Kentucky Oaks is number two. Exaggerator is three, then Louisiana Derby winner Gun Runner and Mohaymen at number five.
Brody's Cause is in at number six. The Bob Baffert-trained Cupid, going in this Saturday's Arkansas Derby is 7. Destin is 8th, Mor Spirit is ninth and Outwork, who won a sloppy Wood Memorial Saturday is in at number ten.
