LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The NRA says Donald Trump will speak at its annual leadership forum in Louisville next month.

The event at the Kentucky Exposition Center will take place May 20 at 12:30 p.m.

The NRA confirms Trump will speak at the event, but other confirmed speakers include Matt Bevin, Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio.

Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Paul Ryan have all been invited as well.

You'll remember Trump came to Louisville back in March on Super Tuesday for a rally at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

It was a boisterous atmosphere, to the point where several protesters have filed suits against the GOP front-runner for inciting violence.

The NRA convention was last in Louisville in 2008, when GOP candidate John McCain came to town to speak.

The NRA released a statement saying, ""The NRA is pleased to confirm that Donald J. Trump? will speak at the 2016 NRA-ILA Leadership Forum during ?this year's Annual Meeting in Louisville. As we gear up to elect a pro-Second Amendment president, our members are excited to hear from leaders committed to preserving their constitutional freedom.”
