LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's now a safe place to exchange goods bought and sold on the Internet in La Grange.

The La Grange Police Department made the announcement of a new Internet Purchase Exchange Area on its Facebook page. It's located in the public parking lot at the corner of Second Street and Main Street across from the Police Department.

The area will be under 24-hour video surveillance, which police hope will provide a safe place for people to meet.

La Grange is the latest city to designate a safe area for exchanges. Hodgenville set up a spot in February.
