LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested the suspect who shot and killed a man in south Louisville last month.

It happened on March 19, on Nichols View Court, just east of the intersection of Manslick Road and March Boulevard.

Police say 21-year-old Jaaron Wilson shot and killed 22-year-old Demarco Durham.

Police say they responded to the 2400 block of Nichols View Court, just after 5:30 p.m. that Saturday, on a report of a shooting.

"When officers arrived, they found a black male that had apparently been shot inside a vehicle," said LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell. "He received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene."

The coroner's office says Durham died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Police arrested Wilson on Wednesday evening. He is charged with murder.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the LMPD crime tipline at 502-574-LMPD (574-5673).
