Louisville man charged with murder in connection with March 19 shooting
Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested the suspect who shot and killed a man in south Louisville last month.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested the suspect who shot and killed a man in south Louisville last month.
It happened on March 19, on Nichols View Court, just east of the intersection of Manslick Road and March Boulevard.
Police say 21-year-old Jaaron Wilson shot and killed 22-year-old Demarco Durham.
Police say they responded to the 2400 block of Nichols View Court, just after 5:30 p.m. that Saturday, on a report of a shooting.
"When officers arrived, they found a black male that had apparently been shot inside a vehicle," said LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell. "He received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene."
The coroner's office says Durham died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Police arrested Wilson on Wednesday evening. He is charged with murder.
