LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jeffersontown Police Department has named a new police chief.

Ken Hatmaker was named the chief Tuesday night.

He has over 16 years experience in law enforcement.

The former chief, Rick Sanders, took a new job in March as Kentucky State Police Commissioner.
