LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Click on the video player above to watch the "Missing Man" flyover -- and thank a military veteran for their service.

Jay "Flash" Gordon was killed when his plane crashed during an air show in Oneida, Tenn.

He was flying an L-39 Albatros, fixed wing, single-engine aircraft back in September when it crashed during an airshow at Scott Municipal Airport.

Gordon was a staple at Thunder Over Louisville. He flew his L-39 Albatros in the Kentucky Derby Festival event for several years.

The organizers of Thunder Over Louisville created this missing man tribute for Gordon, which was performed at sunset in front of an estimated crowd of 750,000 people.
