LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The sun was shining Sunday as Cyclouivia returned to Frankfort Avenue.

The road was closed to motorized vehicles from Stilz Avenue to Pope Street for about four hours.

The yearly event allows people to walk, cycle, skateboard, or even dance their way down the road.

Those who live in the area say it's a great way to check out local businesses and meet new people.

"It brings out the entire community. I think folks come out here from different neighborhoods and just enjoy the weather and people you haven's seen all winter out," said Erin Jones, who attended the event.

Louisville Metro Police were on site for the event.

This was the third year Cyclouivia has been on Frankfort Avenue.
