Damion Lee and Trey Lewis to serve as honorary grand marshals for Pegasus Parade

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Damion Lee and Trey Lewis, graduate transfers who won over U of L basketball fans in a tumultuous season, will serve as honorary grand marshals for the KDF Pegasus Parade.

“These two young men are true examples of real student athletes," said Stacey Robinson, KFC Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff. "Both overcame adversity and became ambassadors not only for their team and the school, but for our city."

Lee and Lewis quickly became fan favorites during the 2015-16 season after coming to U of L as graduate transfers. Their only season in a Cardinal uniform didn't end as they'd hoped, though, when U of L self-imposed a postseason ban amid a scandal in the basketball program.

They will join Jordan Smith, a Kentucky native who won season 9 of The Voice, who is serving as Grand Marshal of the parade.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at KDF.org or by calling the Derby Festival Hotline at (502) 584-FEST. Ticket prices are $10 for bleacher seats, $12 chair seating and $30 review stand seats.
