LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police arrest a Louisville woman officials say stole several thousand dollars from Thorntons. Authorities say the woman worked as a manager at Thorntons.

Alicia Acevedo Pino, 33, was arrested Monday in the 3400 block of Bardstown Road, not far from Belmont Road and Heather Lane, according to the official police report. Officials say Pino allegedly stole $4,700 in cash from Thorntons.

Police say Pino "falsified money-drop slips and took cash from the register."

Pino is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
