Louisville man arrested after police allegedly find more than 150 marijuana plants
Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a man after police found over 150 marijuana plants at three different locations.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a man after police found over 150 marijuana plants at three different locations.
According to an arrest report, police say they executed a search warrant at the home of 38-year-old Dale F. Smith on Timberwood Circle, off S. Hurstbourne Parkway. While inside, police say they seized several mason jars containing marijuana.
According to the arrest report, police say they also executed a search warrant at a location on Nadina Drive, near Farnsley Park, which Smith "had access to." Inside, police say they found 94 marijuana plants and a "large amount" of marijuana buds that were being dried.
Police also executed a search warrant at a home on Justice Way, off Cedar Creek Road. Inside that location, police allegedly found more than 100 marijuana plants and a .22 rifle which Smith, "had access to."
Police say Smith was working with at least four accomplices.
He was arrested last night and charged with engaging in organized crime, cultivating marijuana plants of a number greater than five, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
