LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tuition is going up for Kentucky's public colleges and universities.

The Council on Postsecondary Education approved increases of more than $500 for the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville.

Western Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State, Murray State and Kentucky State can raise tuition by more than $400.
