LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Legendary Indiana University coach Bobby Knight comes back to the Hoosier state to campaign for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The former IU head basketball coach spoke at a Trump rally in Indianapolis Wednesday evening.

Knight endorsed Trump for the Republican presidential nomination.

"I again thank you for giving me the opportunity to coach basketball in this state, and now I want to give you the very best choice that's ever been made," Knight said about endorsing Trump.

"He loves Indiana and to have his endorsement is just an honor," Trump later responded about Knight's endorsement.

Trump and most of the presidential candidates are focused on Indiana with voters heading to the polls for the state's primary next Tuesday.

Wednesday was a busy day for Trump.

Besides his rally in Indianapolis with Knight, he also spent time in Evansville, Ind. earlier in the day Wednesday.

The presidential candidate also delivered a speech outlining his foreign policy plan at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
