DEA now part of investigation into Prince's death

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's a possible new clue in Prince's death.

A source tells CNN the singer had prescription opioid medication on him at the time of his death.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents are now part of the investigation.

The law enforcement source says the pills are commonly used to treat pain.

The 57-year-old music icon died last Thursday at his home in a Minneapolis suburb.

An autopsy was completed last week, but authorities are still waiting on toxicology results.
