This reunion has a 'ring' to it

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- We've all been there before: you lose your car keys, a specific password, or maybe your cellphone.

In Lisa Curran's case, something rather large on her left hand seemed to disappear Tuesday night at a local Macy's dressing room.

"I was just absolutely devastated," said Lisa.

Lisa's eye-catching engagement ring - poof - just like that, gone.

"I just said it's in God's hands," added Lisa. The big guy upstairs didn't have the bling, but a local college student did.

Morgan Holdway was dress shopping for her sorority's formal when she spotted something that sparkled.

"I'm married so I'm like oh my gosh this woman has to be freaking out," said Morgan

Lisa says she was freaking out while filing a police report but she was not giving up.

Morgan's gut reaction was to post a a picture of what she found, and Facebook did the rest.

"It got like 2,000 shares in less than 30 minutes," added Morgan

Less than 24 hours after she lost it, Lisa Curran was reunited with her ring. The $5,000 engagement ring exchanged hands Wednesday afternoon at The Oxmoor Mall.

Each side says this ordeal will forever connect them, and, of course, this story will make one heck of an icebreaker at Lisa's upcoming wedding.
