Indiana Republicans say they're receiving death threats for not supporting Trump

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some Republican delegates in Indiana say they're getting death threats for not supporting Donald Trump.

Thomas John and Craig Dunn are both John Kasich supporters, and they say they've gotten dozens of threatening emails and phone calls. Some of the emails say things like, "We are watching you."

Some contain insults, like "You are a traitor to your nation," and, "You are the true Satan."

"The last one I got, frankly, was the most disturbing to where the person said, 'If Donald Trump doesn't get the nomination, we should cleanse the delegates,'" said Dunn.

If Trump wins the Indiana primary, state election laws would require John and Dunn to vote for Trump. Both say if that happens, they'll follow the law.
