LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- City officials have released a tool to help residents track their Internet speeds.

It's called SpeedUpLouisville.com, and it collects and shares user-generated information about local Internet service speeds, rates and service quality.

The data is displayed on an interactive map and is available for free.

The mayor says he hopes the application will draw more citizen participation and attract the investment of ultra high-speed internet providers.
