LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Facebook is paying a young hacker $10,000 for finding a problem with its Instagram smartphone application.

The 10-year-old hacker is from Finland.

Facebook officials say he found a bug that allowed him to delete other people's comments from the Instagram app.

Facebook started using a program called "Bug Bounty" in 2011.

It rewards hackers when they find and report security issues.
