LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Derby trainer Dale Romans was involved in a car accident on Saturday after Derby 142. 

Romans was driving the vehicle when it was hit by a car that ran a stop sign at Southern Parkway and Evelyn Avenue.

The vehicle was then pushed into the street where it was t-boned by another car. 

Four of the six people in the car were taken to the hospital in an ambulance, while Romans drove himself to Jewish Hospital where he was released with bruised ribs. 

Everyone is expected to be OK. 

LMPD has not released a report on the accident since there were no fatalities. 

Romans is the trainer for Brody's Cause, who finished 7th at Derby 142
