LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby winner is off to get ready for his next race.

Nyquist left Churchill Downs on Monday to head to Baltimore. That's where he will go for the second leg of the Triple Crown, the Preakness Stakes.

The horse's team says he looks healthy and happy after the Derby.

Nyquist was the richest horse to ever start the Kentucky Derby, with $3.3 million in career earnings.

The Preakness is on Saturday, May 21.
