LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A boil water advisory is in effect for about 1,300 customers of the Georgetown, Ind., town water utility.

Crews worked through the night to fix the "major break" in a 6-inch, "old water line" in Church Alley near Miller Lane, said Georgetown public works director Jamie Schilmiller.

Customer will experience low water pressure until at least 8 a.m. Friday as the town's main water tank refills, according to Schilmiller.

The boil water advisory will remain effect until at least Sunday morning.
