LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – A four-run fifth inning powered the fifth ranked Louisville Cardinals to 4-2 victory over number 10 North Carolina State Saturday afternoon at Jim Patterson Stadium.

Sophomore Brendan McKay led the offensive attack, going 2-4 with a double and an RBI.

Junior Drew Harrington (10-1) improved to 7 and 0 in ACC starts this season. He pitched seven innings, giving up two runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts.

The Cardinals win gives them a two game lead on Florida State for first place in the ACC Atlantic with six days left in the regular season. Each team has four conference games remaining on its schedule.
