Report: Missing Columbia Univ. student from Lou. deleted Facebook page, changed numbers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A New York newspaper reports missing Columbia University student and Louisville native Nayla Kidd deleted her Facebook page and changed her cellphone and bank account numbers.

The New York Daily News story published Saturday cites police sources.

A Facebook group affiliated with Kidd's mother says the 19-year-old has not been seen since May 5. Few other details have been released.

Kidd is an undergraduate engineering student at Columbia University in New York.

She's originally from Louisville. Kidd's mother is a professor at University of Louisville.

Family and friends set up the Facebook page to help find her.
