Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to campaign in Louisville today

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is coming to Louisville today, ahead of Tuesday's primary.

Today, Clinton will hold a "Get Out to Vote" event at the Union of Carpenters and Millwrights Training Center, located at 1245 Durrett Lane.

Doors will open to the public at 11:30 a.m., according to the Clinton campaign. The event is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.

Clinton will ask Kentuckians for their support and urge them to go out and vote on Tuesday. She's also expected to discuss why she's the best candidate to raise incomes for Kentucky families, lower health care costs and improve education.

The event is free and open to the public.

This comes, just one day after Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, made a surprise stop at an Elizabethtown restaurant.

Sanders challenged Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, to support legislation to save health and pension funds for retired coal miners.

All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible.

Clinton is also expected to travel to Covington later today. Tomorrow, she's expected to hold events in Bowling Green and Lexington.

Sanders is scheduled to appear in Paducah today.
