LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- February was the most profitable month ever for the KFC Yum! Center since it opened in 2010.

The arena averaged an event every other day during the month of February. Building operator, AEG, says the center made $1.2 million during the month, thanks to University of Louisville basketball games and concerts by Carrie Underwood, Bruce Springsteen and Blake Shelton.

The arena has not yet reported its financial results from April, when Garth Brooks held four shows in Louisville.

AEG says those concerts set a record for ticket sales and sold more than half of their tickets from outside the metro area.
