LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- As mosquitoes move into Kentucky, there's a new place to get information about the Zika virus.

University of Kentucky insect experts have created a website to provide information on the virus.

They say mosquito populations will peak in mid-to-late summer.

The website will include information on Zika cases as they appear, and on mosquitoes that are potential virus-carriers in the state.

Zika can be transmitted sexually, but it is primarily spread through mosquito bites.
