UPDATE: Arrest made after shooting in Parkland neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is accused of shooting a man in the head in Louisville's Parkland neighborhood Tuesday evening.

This morning, Marcus Taylor is behind bars. A judge said he had the victim's wallet and cell phone at the time of the shooting.

The 32-year-old appeared in court this morning, where a plea of not guilty was entered for him. He faces charges, including: attempted murder, first degree robbery, and tampering with physical evidence.

It's in connection to a shooting that happened yesterday around 4:45 p.m., at S. 29th and Greenwood Avenue. That's where police found a man they say had been shot in the head. He was taken to University Hospital and is not expected to survive.

"[The] suspect was in possession of [the] victim's wallet and cell phone," said Assistant County Attorney Cristin Southhard. "[The] entire incident was caught on video and was collected by LMPD video forensics."

Fifteen minutes before that shooting, police say a 25-year-old man was shot just blocks away, at the corner of 26th Street and Greenwood Avenue. Witnesses say that victim was shot inside a car, and the suspect pushed him out of the vehicle before taking off.

No arrests have been made there, and that victim is expected to be okay.

Taylor is being held on a $250,000 bond.
