LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mayor Greg Fischer invites you to get moving on Memorial Day.

The 23rd Hike, Bike and Paddle will happen at Waterfront Park on May 30.

You can also try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding or ride in a big canoe along the Ohio River.

Cyclists will ride a 15-mile route through Old Louisville to Iroquois Park. Walkers are allowed to bring dogs to participate in the hike.

"One of our city's goals is to make Louisville a healthier city, a more active city, a more connected and a city where we certainly want lots of parks, trails, walking, biking paths ... put it all together," Mayor Fischer said.

Yoga, Tai Chi, Zumba and pickleball demonstrations will also be offered.

Mayor Fischer says the event is a way to encourage Louisville residents to be more active and make healthier lifestyle choices.
