Murder trial for woman accused of running over husband in Incredible Dave's parking lot starts soon
A woman accused of hitting her husband with her car is set to stand trial for his murder.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman accused of hitting her husband with her car is set to stand trial for his murder.
According to an arrest report, it happened May 19, 2014, at the Incredible Dave's in the 9200 block of Westport Road, near Langdon Drive. That's where police say 28-year-old Toya Denise Mathis was driving a Dodge Charger in the parking lot of the business when she intentionally ran over her husband, Thadius Thompson.
Thomas was rushed to the hospital but died the next day.
Mathis is charged with murder and domestic violence. She has been on home incarceration since being charged.
Jury selection is set to begin on Tuesday.
