El Camino moving off Bardstown Road, making way for fried chicken

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- El Camino has is searching for a new home, while another is moving in. 

Thunderdome Restaurants from Cincinnati is filling the space with The Eagle this fall.

The Eagle is best-known for its fried chicken and mac and cheese. The closest location to Louisville is in Over The Rhine near downtown Cincinnati.

Larry Rice, one of the owners of El Camino, says he's looking for property in Germantown.

The Bardstown Road location won't close until later this summer. 

Rice also co-owns the Silver Dollar, and says they're opening a bar later this month called The Pearl.

It'll be at the corner of Goss and Texas Avenues where Pauly's Pub used to be.
