LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A year-and-a-half after a deadly shooting in Bullitt County, police have made an arrest.

Teresia Walker appeared before a judge this morning, via video, while a not-guilty plea was entered on her behalf.

Walker was taken into custody yesterday. Investigators say she shot Donald Hagan in the chest on Cow Branch Road back in Nov. 2014.

After the shooting, Hagan was dropped off  at Jerry's Drive-Inn Liquors in West Point, where he died.

After court this morning, Hagan's sister and Walker's father talked with WDRB.

"I personally do not believe she's guilty," said Wayne Walker, Teresia Walker's dad. "But I wasn't there, so I can't say yes or no."

"I'm just glad, if this is the person that did this to my brother," said Michelle Lawson, Hagan's sister. "He hasn't been able to rest in a year-and-a-half. I don't have closure, I have not been able to grieve for my brother."

Police have not released any more information about what led to Walker's arrest. She's also facing drug charges. Walker is due back in court June 6. Her bond is set at $500,000 cash or $1 million in property.
