LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The attorney for a man charged with murdering two teenage brothers is stepping down from the case.

Larry Ordway,14, and Maurice Gordon,16, were found dead Sunday behind a vacant home on River Park Drive.

They had been stabbed and burned.

Brice Rhodes and two juveniles are charged in the murder case.

Rhodes' attorney, Brendan McLeod, says he took the case because he knows Rhodes' mother.

He says he later learned the victims are the grandchildren of his good friend.

McLeod says he will step down at a hearing Tuesday morning, then attend the funeral for the victims.
