UPDATE | Victim in Tuesday's homicide was recent Iroquois High graduate
LMPD responded to a call on Colorado Avenue near Lincoln Avenue around 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The 18-year-old victim in Tuesday's homicide in the Taylor Berry neighborhood has died from his injuries.
The victim, Derrick Cargill, had graduated from Iroquois High School last week. His family and friends spoke to the media on Wednesday morning.
LMPD responded to a call on Colorado Avenue near Lincoln Avenue around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, where they found the victim. He was transported to University Hospital. LMPD said the victim died lated Tuesday night.
Officers say there are no suspects or arrests at this time.
