LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they arrested three men early Monday morning after they robbed a local drug store, taking prescription drugs.

According to arrest reports, police say it happened at the CVS Pharmacy on Bardstown Road, near Woodbourne Avenue, just before 3 a.m.

Police say two men, 19-year-old Devon Taylor and 18-year-old Larry Warren, and at least one juvenile, walked into the pharmacy. According to arrest reports, Taylor approached the pharmacy counter and gave them a demand note, while the juvenile threatened a victim there with a gun. Police say the men, including Warren, grabbed several types of narcotics from the pharmacy and ran out the door.

Outside, police say 24-year-old David Newson was acting as a lookout and getaway driver. Police say the suspects got into a 2001 green BMW and Newson drove them away.

They didn't get very far. According to arrest reports, police arrested them just a few minutes later, on Joan Avenue, just South of Bowman Field.

All three of the men are charged with first degree robbery. According to the arrest reports, they are residents of Indianapolis.
