Louisville Metro Police arrest man accused of two robberies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a man responsible for two bank robberies.

Nathaniel Bush, age 42, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.

According to an arrest report, he robbed the Stock Yards Bank at 4640 Southern Parkway on May 31. Police say he walked into the bank, and gave the teller a note demanding cash. He ran away after getting the money, according to police.

The second robbery happened Tuesday afternoon, according to the arrest report. Police say he walked into the PNC Bank at 5021 S. 3rd Street, where he again gave the teller a note demanding cash.

This time he was captured by police in the 4900 block of S. 2nd Street, near Southside Drive.

He was charged with two counts of first degree robbery and is currently being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
