LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The cast of the new production of "The Phantom of the Opera" will pay tribute to the late boxing legend Muhammad Ali this afternoon.

According to a news release, Katie Travis, who plays the lead role of "Christine Daae" in the production, will be singing the song, "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" in the lobby of The Kentucky Center today at noon. The performance will be in front of the box office, just inside the main entrance.

The presentation is part of the city's "I Am Ali" event.

"The company would like to pay respect to Louisville and global legend Muhammad Ali," a news release from PNC Broadway in Louisville states.

"The Phantom of the Opera began performances on June 1" and closes this Sunday, June 12.
