Louisville man arrested after leading police on high speed chase
Officials say Hamilton Austin led law enforcement on a high speed chase Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man faces several felony charges after leading police on a chase chase from Breckinridge County to Grayson County.
The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says Hamilton Austin led law enforcement on a high speed chase Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m.
The 22-year-old man eventually crashed into a yard and camper-trailer.
Police say the only damage was to some shrubbery, a parked camper-trailer and a garage door totaling over $1,000.
Austin and his 22-year-old passenger, Casie Hale, tried to run from officers. Austin was tased by police and arrested. Hale was also arrested.
Austin was wanted out of Bullitt County on a warrant for burglary.
