LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Louisville daycare owner is sentenced to nearly four years in prison.

Lottie Burgos operated ABC Village Daycare on West Market Street and 7th Street Road.

According to a plea agreement, Burgos falsified attendance numbers and employment statuses of parents  used to collect child care payments from Kentucky's Department for Community Based Services.

She also lied about her staff being CPR-certified.

Burgos now owes the state nearly $1.5 million.
