LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Homer Bailey had a short day of work Monday.
In his first of what is believed to be five rehab starts, the right-hander threw only 25 pitches for Louisville in a 3-1 loss to Buffalo at Slugger Field.
Bailey gave up two 1st inning homers, one to former UK Wildcat Andy Burns, and the other to Jesús Montero. Of his 25 pitches, 17 were strikes.
Bailey is coming off Tommy-John surgery 13 months ago.
