LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Did you pass the honesty test in downtown Louisville on Tuesday?
Organic beverage company Honest Tea set up a social experiment near 5th and Main Streets.
An unmanned kiosk was stocked with the bottled drinks. They were offered for $1 on the honor system.
The company is keeping track of who pays and who doesn't.
"The average is usually about 90 percent or higher," said Melissa Cerda-Richards, a regional marketing manager for Honest Tea. "Last year, the national average was 94 percent. So really good. It kind of gives you a little hope for everybody."
In 2014, Louisville tied for 4th place as one of the most honest cities.
It's happening in 26 cities across the country this year.
