WDRB News takes home 14 first-place trophies at SPJ awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The WDRB News team won 14 first place trophies at Thursday night's Society of Professional Journalists awards banquet, held at the Bristol Bar and Grill in downtown Louisville.

Overall, WDRB brought back 31 awards for reporting on environmental, political, education and minority issues, and Bill Lamb won first place in the editorial category for Point of View.
