The Kentucky Flea Market hosts Fourth of July Spectacular at Kentucky Expo Center

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hundreds of vendors celebrate Independence Day at the Kentucky Flea Market.

The flea market's four day Fourth of July Spectacular is being held in the South Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center this weekend.

There are more than 600 booths, that feature one-of-a-kind items, collectibles and food.

The theme is, of course, July Fourth.

Many vendors return for the spectacular every year, including a booth set up to sell patriotic items like military hats and flags.

"Our biggest clientele is veterans and military families, their son or daughter is in the military. But I guess most people just come out here to get a good deal. I mean you got a lot of food vendors out here and other people. I mean, there's always a good deal on something," said vendor Jim Wathen.

The flea market continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It wraps up Monday, with hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
