LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) –  The Louisville Bats were not able to beat the rain Sunday at Slugger Field.

They were however able to beat Gwinnett by the final of 2-1 in a game called by the rain after five and half innings.

Louisville fell behind 1-0 in the fourth but recovered later that inning thanks to Steve Selsky and Kyle Waldrop.

Selsky put the Bats on the board first with an RBI single off Chris Ellis (0-3, 8.16). Selsky then was brought home three batters later on an RBI from Waldrop.

Daniel Wright (2-3, 5.18) picked up the win for Louisville. He went six innings, giving up one run on three hits. Wright struck out three and walked two.

Louisville has won two in a row. The Bats hit the road for a three game series at Indianapolis starting Monday.
