Crews assessing storm damage in Lexington

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Lexington residents are cleaning debris left behind from storms in Lexington.

Storms hit the area Monday afternoon, bringing down trees and power lines in several neighborhoods.

One tree fell on a house causing part of the roof to cave in. The homeowner said he was moving his car to avoid falling limbs when it happened.

Police had to direct traffic at several busy intersections during Monday's storms because traffic lights weren't working due to power outages.

No injuries have been reported.
