LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Repairs start tonight (July 5) on I-64 in southern Indiana.

Crews will be repairing asphalt patches in the eastbound lanes from the Georgetown exit to the Sherman-Minton Bridge. Eventually - the westbound lanes will be worked on.

Once repairs have been completed, milling and paving operations will begin.

Lanes will be restricted Mondays thru Saturdays from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

The $7.2 million dollar pavement preservation project is expected to be finished by October 31st.
