Pleasureville, Ky. man charged with the murder of his own brother
Kentucky State Police say they've charged a Pleasureville, Kentucky, man with murder weeks after his actions resulted in the death of his own brother.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police say they've charged a Pleasureville, Kentucky, man with murder weeks after his actions resulted in the death of his own brother.
According to an arrest report, 27-year-old Michael Trask was taken into custody just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Police say that on May 25, Trask was driving a car on KY-22, near South Property Road (Ky-573).
His brother, Heathe Trask, was in the passenger seat, according to police.
While there, Michael Trask drove off the roadway and hit a tree, according to the arrest report. Police say Heathe Trask was killed as a result of the crash.
"Through investigation, it was determined that Michael had a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.184," the arrest report states. "Additionally, it was determined that, as the vehicle left the roadway, he was traveling between 86 and 88 miles per hour."
Michael Trask is charged with murder. He is currently being held in the Oldham County Detention Center.
