Police say Louisville woman assaulted man with burrito, stabbed him with knife
Louisville Metro Police say Christina Blevins, 48, assaulted a man Tuesday night on Schiller Court in Louisville.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say Christina Blevins, 48, assaulted a man Tuesday night on Schiller Court in Louisville.
“This has been going on for a long time,” one woman said.
A person living in the area who wished to remain anonymous said Blevins is married to the man she allegedly attacked.
According to a police report, Blevins hit the victim in the head with a burrito. As the victim walked away and out of the kitchen, police say Blevins tried to stab him with a knife. The man reportedly tried blocking the knife, but ended up being stabbed in the hand. Blevins also cut her hand in the process.
Some in the area say they're concerned.
“She's broken windows, she's stolen, she's started her house on fire, she's attacked him (and) she's attacked all her other ex-husbands and her boyfriends,” one woman said.
Police arrested Blevins a few hours after the incident and booked her into Metro Corrections.
Knowing domestic violence is a serious issue, this woman hopes Blevins can change her ways and said the only thing she can do is pray for her.
“She needs some help,” the woman said.
Blevins is charged with second degree assault-domestic violence. She is expected in court next week.
