LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Kyle Busch did it again at Kentucky Speedway.
Busch won for the fifth time in his career in Sparta after taking the ALSCO 300. It was his first ever Xfinity Series win at Kentucky Speedway.
Busch led for 153 laps but his victory wasn’t as easy as it sounds. With 25 laps to go, he trailed Erik Jones under a caution. Then, Jones made a huge mistake turning off his engine to save fuel. He was not able to maintain pace and NASCAR allowed passes by Busch and Austin Dillon.
Busch again lost his lead with two laps left but was able to surge past Dillon and hold on the for the win.
